Highway Infrastructure
MTC’s knowledge and expertise is founded on many years of experience, covering projects of various size and complexity.
Design of site/estate road systems for sites from 4 - 5,000 units and the production of Section 38 Agreement submissions are routine. These include:
- Detailed layouts
- Longitudinal sections
- Typical construction details
- Drainage details
Drainage Infrastructure
1,000 homes generate 400,000 litres of waste water per day, and dealing with this demand is an area in which MTC Engineering specialise. Detailed drainage and external level designs required to obtain the Section 104 & 185 agreements from local water authorities and sewage undertakers to adopt new and diverted sewers is an area of expertise, whilst design of drainage infrastructure such as balancing ponds, tanks, pumping stations, underground attenuation facilities, flow controls, watercourse improvements, and infiltration systems and testing is also regularly undertaken to ensure that downstream flood risk is not increased.
Site Supervision
MTC Engineering will also provide full site supervision and can handle the complete package from concept to delivery of completed work. This includes liaising with a range of professionals such as planners, architects, lawyers etc, ensuring that a constant quality of work is achieved throughout the project and providing a seamless interface between all the site service contractors
